MoMA PS1

The space for project 3 is an add shape. It is close to a square shape with a wall halfway through. There are also 2 rooms to the side of the main installation.

The museum itself is very cool. each room is something different and each artist has their own style which was very eye catching.

Project 2

Amelia and I finished creating the small, rigid model connecting each individual structure with a bridge by friday afternoon.

Catenary

A catenary is the curve that a hanging chain or cable makes under its own weight when supported only at its ends.

Catenary arches are used a lot for natural building of structures such as the Clay Obos and Casa Mila.

Rockwell Group

The works of Rockwell Group was very interesting. Although it is not necessarily architecture, architecture is needed in almost all of their projects. I thought that Rockwell Group came up with some pretty innovative ideas such as the interactive blocks for little kids to create their own playground at the park, interactive annotations that can be projected on windows and pillars, as well as the different set designs and sceneries for broadway shows and productions.
